Deep and muted, Damask is making a comeback in home interior design. It’s dusty and earthy, pairing well with neutrals, greys and muted blues. Previously part of the Fusion Mineral line, the company decided to bring it back after discontinuing it.

And it sure was a good call! Many of us were missing the regal, dusty pink.

A decisive splash

Fusion Mineral aims to bring timeless and old world colors into home furniture. The color was inspired by an old vintage wallpaper that carried a damask pattern — this exact color was found on the wallpaper. The color is also popular in France. But Damask’s comeback isn’t in all its original glory. We’d like to think it’s better than ever, now being a little lighter than the original Fusion Mineral version.

And as you read up on Fusion Mineral, remember it’s not only about the winning colors available to you. Fusion Mineral Paint Damask is created with attention to quality and durability.

It’s easy to apply, making it a win on so many levels.

In looking at this dresser, you can’t help but notice the way this dusty pink contrasts with the copper trim. The handles and feet pair well with Fusion Mineral Paint Damask. If you’re into glam or regal elegance, this could be the perfect mix for you.

Nightstand

For this bit of furniture, the blogger found a beautiful nightstand with curves and carvings to die for. She figured Fusion Mineral Damask would bring this nightstand to life. And so it did! After two coats, the night stand took on a whole new persona. She added decor transfers — both text and floral.

It’s a darling piece, is it not? We’re in love! It’s graceful yet strong.

Floral chest of drawers

Here’s another furniture piece with decor transfers. This pink French floral chest of drawers is feminine and filled with character.

Make it regal

Now this palette carries a sense of stateliness with the stark grey color. There’s some lighter pinks and creamy whites going in the background. This could be a good palette for a guest room or bathroom.

A bouquet of loveliness

To say this isn’t eye-catching would be a lie. The black background with dark green leaves and light airy roses is pleasing to the eyes. Sophistication and beauty are all part of this palette.

The roses come in various shades of pink — from the light to the bold mauve dustiness of Fusion Mineral Paint Damask.

Don’t forget the creamy and off-white colors that come into play here. We recommend bringing Fusion Mineral Paint Champlain into this pairing.
